About Us
- When was the MN4WDA founded?
- May 22, 1987
- Why was the MN4WDA founded?
- The MN4WDA was founded to unify all the clubs and create one single organization that could advocate as a whole, rather than fighting individually.
- What is the MN4WDA’s mission?
- The MN4WDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating new opportunities for off-road vehicles, educating the public about off-road recreation, and fighting anti-ORV legislation.
- What does the MN4WDA do for it’s members?
- The MN4WDA works hard to create new OHV opportunities in Minnesota, to build and maintain trails, to fight anti-ORv legislation at the capitol, and to provide the public with a better image of our sport.
- What vehicles does the MN4WDA represent?
- The MN4WDA represents off-highway vehicles as defined by the Minnesota DNR. You can find that definition and other OHV regulations here.
- When are MN4WDA meetings?
- The MN4WDA meets on the fourth Monday of every month (except December) at the Green Mill in Woodbury, MN. Our board of directors meeting begins at 6:30 pm, and the general meeting begins at 7:30 pm. Anyone is welcomed at both meetings, but during the board of directors meeting, comments will be limited to MN4WDA officers only.
- Do you have any volunteer opportunities?
- Yes! We have both short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities. If you’re interested, please contact our membership director, Morgan Wendt, at [email protected]
- Who are your leaders and how are they elected?
- We have a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and a 6 member board of directors; all of which are elected positions. We also have several officers, who hold special positions, but do not have voting privileges. Our officers consist of the membership director, public relations director, legislative director, and land use director. You can meet our leadership team here.
Membership
- Why should I become an MN4WDA member?
- There are so many reasons! To be part of something bigger, to support a group of people advocating for the right to go off-road and building/maintaining trails in Minnesota, to be part of a community of like-minded people, to have access to the latest news in OHV legislation updates, to receive a complimentary subscription to the bi-monthly Minnesota Offroad Magazine, to get free admission to our annual swap meet, to get discounts exclusive to MN4WDA members, and so much more!
